The CHEERmobile Mini-Market is a ‘Grocery Store on Wheels’ and is available to any mature adult age 50+ or disabled adult Sussex County resident unable to shop on his or her own. The service is also available on a temporary basis to any adult recovering from medical treatment and unable to shop regularly. Groceries may be purchased by cash or check. The customer selects their groceries each week from an inventory list and the CHEERmobile driver delivers the selected items to the customer’s door. There is a one-time application fee of $10. Customers are not obligated to purchase any specified amount of groceries. There is a $5 grocery delivery fee.

Intake procedures: Accepts insurance
All Centers are open to individuals aged 50 and older. The cost for yearly membership is $30 and can be used at all CHEER Center locations. All Centers are open Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:00. Special activities may include additional hours on selected dates. Heart-healthy, midday meals are available to persons aged 60 plus for a donation of $3.00. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, 11:30 am till 1:00 pm. Individuals under the age of 60 may eat at the Centers for $4.50. Breakfast and evening meals are occasionally served with special activities. Prices vary. Check your local Center for more information.
