Mission

Exceptional Care for Children (ECC) is Delaware's first and only pediatric acute care nursing home for medically fragile children ages birth to twenty-one. ECC's mission is to improve the lives of lives of technology-dependent children and their families through skilled nursing, transitional and palliative care. We are a haven for healing fragile bodies when improvement is possible, and a refuge for nurturing vulnerable spirits when a cure is unattainable.
