Oiled Wildlife Response

Tri-State’s Oiled Wildlife Response Team is on-call 24/7/365. Founded to mitigate the effects of oil on wildlife, Tri-State continues to lead the way in oiled wildlife response, training, and contingency planning. Our highly trained team provides professional and safe care to compromised wildlife during an incident of any size. We’ve responded to hundreds of incidents locally and around the world, including leading the Gulf of Mexico response in 2010. From founding the Effects of Oil on Wildlife Conference in 1982 to developing state-of-the-art procedures to help our patients today, Tri-State continues to be a leader in avian and oiled wildlife rehabilitation. Our Wildlife Response Annex, a sister building to the Frink Center for Wildlife, is a facility designed to serve oiled wildlife and patients from large-scale incidents. Tis unique building was designed for optimal patient and responder safety.
